International Journal of Nigerian Studies and Development
The International Journal of Nigerian Studies and Development is an interdisciplinary journal addressing factors and issues that relate to development. The journal is published once a year by the International Association of Nigerian Studies and Development (IANSD) and has an audience that includes academics, students, policy makers, and others affiliated with business, government and non-governmental agencies. Original scholarly articles, especially most recent research on various aspects of the Nigerian or African situation, and research on topics of general applicability and interest are considered. Original articles that deal perceptively with the political, economic and social gestation of any African country are also welcome. |

SUBMISSIONS
Email submission (as attached Microsoft Word document) is preferred. The editor’s email address is: ukaga001@umn.edu. Contributions should be typed in double spacing. Each article should be preceded by an abstract (of between 150 and 200 words), which gives a synopsis of the purpose, theoretical framework and results or conclusions. Manuscripts should be no more than 7,500 words or 20 pages in length and should conform as much as possible to the Chicago Manual Style 14th Edition. Reference cited in the text must be fully documented in a list of bibliographic references at the end of the article, including author’s name, title of the publication, year of publication, publisher, place of publication, and page numbers. In addition, references for journal articles should include the volume and number of the journal as well as the pertinent page numbers. Blind peer reviews are conducted on each article. There is a publication fee of $80 for each article reviewed and accepted. Authors will receive two complimentary copies of the journal in which their articles appear. BOOK REVIEW
The editorial board welcomes reviews of books that deal with various aspects of Nigeria. Of primary need are reviews of book on the political, economic, and socio-cultural aspects of Nigeria. |

COMMENTARIES
We also welcome essays or commentaries on any important aspect of the Nigerian or African situation. |

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscription to the International Journal of Nigerian Studies and Development is $40 per year and $60 for two years (including postage). Institutional rate is $60 per year and $100 for two years. All subscriptions must be paid in US dollars. All checks should be paid to International Association of Nigerian Studies and Development.
The views expressed in the articles, reviews, commentaries and other contributions published by the International Journal of Nigerian Studies and Development are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the editors or the International Association of Nigerian Studies and Development.
